One year late: Berlin 2020 Architecture Prize awarded

The winners of the Berlin Architecture Prize had to wait a year for the award ceremony: due to Corona, the prize was recently awarded to last year's winners in a small ceremony. Feldhaus Klinker was represented on site as a partner of the event with Sales Manager Jörg Breier and Key Account Manager Jens Fricke.

The Architecture Award Berlin honors those projects that succeed in building Berlin in a sustainable manner in terms of architectural culture and program. Criteria considered include governance, functionality, environment, economy, diversity, context, genius loci, and beauty. Out of the 153 entries, the James Simon Gallery, the TAZ New Building and the Terassenhaus Berlin / Lobe Block emerged as the winners of the event. The jury was composed of Kevin Carmody (GB), Almut Grüntuch-Ernst (D), Hetty Berg (D), Jason Bruges (GB), Johan König (D) Fuensanta Nieto (E), Christina Gresser (D) and Philipp Eichstätt (D).
