New pavers for Altenberge Altenberge is located approx. 14 km northwest of the university town of Münster. In the center of the town is the market square, which is also the focal point of community life. The square was created at the end of the 1980s after former commercial areas were made available for its redesign. The municipality of Altenberge commissioned "scape Landschaftsarchitekten GmbH" from Düsseldorf with a design to increase the attractiveness of the town center and improve the quality of the now outdated market square. Church of the Redeemer Cologne-Weidenpesch Object: Hybrid new building comprising church, community center, community office, apartments and daycare center. In terms of urban space, the building makes a strong statement in its surroundings. Due to its compactness, despite its slightly exposed height compared to its surroundings by no means out of scale. Residential and commercial building in Berlin Prenzlauer-Berg A residential and commercial building with around 187 rental apartments (11,300 square meters) on six floors was built on the corner of Winsstrasse and Marienburger Strasse in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. A commercial space of around 2,700 square meters has been created on the first floor, including an Edeka supermarket. With the involvement of the Bremen-Nord building authority, urban land-use planning was carried out in 2012/ 2013 to create new building rights. New elementary school Thierschstraße, Leipzig In Probstheida, a residential suburb to the south-east of Leipzig, a four-form entry elementary school with a two-court sports hall was opened in 2021. The first floor is protected by an ETIC system with clinker brick slips. The lively play of colors is emphasized by the vertical laying of the slats in thicknesses of 14 and 22 mm. Read more →
New construction of an elementary school The municipality of Ahrensfelde invested around 25 million euros in the construction of the new elementary school. In addition to the main building, the new construction includes an integrated after-school care center, a canteen and a sports hall. Pontsteiger Amsterdam The façade was made from precast concrete elements. Thanks to prefabrication, one storey could be completed per week. Hand-glazed thin bricks with a textured surface in WDF format are set into the concrete elements alternately in vertical and horizontal stacks. The chameleon-like green and bronze tones of the thin bricks create a façade that changes with the light and the time of day, just like the surface of the water surrounding the building. Read more →
