Clinker brick slips on curtain ventilated facade Berlin architects presented

With almost 3300 visitors, this year's Architect at Work Berlin was almost as well attended as before Corona times. The mood among the exhibitors was accordingly good and the unique location fits the concept.

The two colleagues Jens Fricke and Carsten Junge presented the trade audience with another option for creatively designing facades with clinker brick slips: ETIC systems have already been common practice for many years and the monolithic construction method is also becoming increasingly popular. The curtain-type, rear-ventilated facade offers an advantage over established systems, particularly for sound insulation. Both colleagues used the trade fair for intensive discussions and to exchange information with the professional audience.
