The attractive facing bricks K704NF and K707NF constitute elegant alternatives to our thin brick items. The pattern for reproducing the surface of the back side appearance originated from the traditional production of bricks. The former lowest row of bricks on the kiln car received particularly irregular imprints due to the pressure of the bricks on top of them – including sharp-edged clay residues protruding all around. Originally considered as a quality deficiency they quickly became popular among building planners in Europe. Known from the historic buildings in old town districts they now fit perfectly and look sophisticated even on new building.
