Pontsteiger Amsterdam The façade was made from precast concrete elements. Thanks to prefabrication, one storey could be completed per week. Hand-glazed thin bricks with a textured surface in WDF format are set into the concrete elements alternately in vertical and horizontal stacks. The chameleon-like green and bronze tones of the thin bricks create a façade that changes with the light and the time of day, just like the surface of the water surrounding the building. Read more →
Residential and commercial building in Berlin Prenzlauer-Berg A residential and commercial building with around 187 rental apartments (11,300 square meters) on six floors was built on the corner of Winsstrasse and Marienburger Strasse in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. A commercial space of around 2,700 square meters has been created on the first floor, including an Edeka supermarket.
